The 56th meeting of the Desert Bighorn Council will be hosted by the Nevada Department of Wildlife. The 2019 meeting Chairman will be Steve Kimble with Mike Cox as Vice-chair.

Call For Papers
The 2017 Biennial meeting of the Desert Bighorn Council was held . We welcome papers and posters on all current research and management issues related to bighorn sheep management. The theme of the conference is "Building Partnerships and Momentum for Bighorn Sheep Conservation." Our keynote speaker and other special guests will focus on this theme. We welcome papers on all aspects of bighorn sheep research and management.
We encourage each state to present a bighorn sheep status update, and that the respective state bighorn sheep leads confirm their participation and identify the presenter.
You are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

Submission deadline: . The Transactions editor will then solicit two independent reviews for each manuscript. Authors may suggest reviewers for their manuscript.

The Awards Committee is requesting nominees to be considered for recognition by the Desert Bighorn Council at our meeting in St. George during April, 2017. Names of nominees to be considered for the Council's Ram Award or Honor Plaque should be sent to Vern Bleich, Chair (email@example.com) by December 31, 2016. Please be sure to include a list of meaningful accomplishments and solid justification for each nominee.
